The series SB are round containers with a stable snap-on lid. The SB types are also named “desalination tank" because there is a sieve bottom (type LB) for each SB type.
New in the series SB are the intermediate sizes, with 25 different sizes available for volumes from 15 to 1,000 liters! The SB is seamlessly manufactured from chemical-resistant, UV-stabilized and food-safe LLD-PE (low-linear density polyethylene).
With the SB in natural-transparent (white), you can see the filling level from the outside, which can be determined through the sintered liter scale. With the black SB, light-sensitive mediums are protected. The robust container has a smooth inner surface and practical flat spots for the assembly of fittings. The UV-stabilized polyethylene enables the containers to be installed outdoors. The containers are temperature-resistant from -20 ° C to + 60 ° C, depending on the medium. Please check the stability of the container against your medium using the resistance list in the download area.
All container types can be equipped with welding fittings, tank screw connections, pipes, fittings, steel frames, agitators and mixers from the wide spectrum of the ARICON accessories. The brine container SB is a popular product for many processes. For the usage of the round container SB as a desalination tank, we offer custom-fit sieve plates LB, which are also produced through the rotary melting process. The height of the sieve bottom in the container can be selected freely and is determined by the height of the safely fitted support tubes (please order support tubes separately).
As a storage container for chemicals, it is recommended to install the container on top of a chemical-safe collection tub with approval of the DIBt. This means that the DIBt approval is valid for the entire combination. The ARICON collection units, collection tubs WR, safety tubs WRL safety pallets WRP have standard pallet dimensions of up to 1200 x 2000 mm, they are highly viable and have a long-lasting robustness. The high versions of the collections pallets, at a placement level height of 860 mm, offer ergonomic accessibility for handling on the container.
